ACTIVITIES

The many activities which are an integral part of the life of this busy community are not regarded as "extra-curricular" at the Royal Alexandra and Albert School. They form part of the everyday experience of pupils here.

Both Boarders and Flexi Boarders benefit from the many activities that are available. The Co Curriculum Activities Programme begins at 4pm and finishes, for Sixth Form pupils at 10pm, well after younger boarders are in bed.

The School has its own indoor swimming pool and riding stables as well as grass pitches, floodlit netball courts, astroturf pitch and sprints track. Pupils can also take part in numerous other activities including many team and individual sports, dance, kayaking or the Duke of Edinburgh Award programme, to name but a few.

The range of activities on offer is wide, and designed to appeal to pupils of all ages and tastes. The Activities Programme Booklet for the Summer Term 2017 is over 140 pages long and gives detailed information about the activities on offer. For a shorter summary please click here.
