FRIENDS OF RAAS (PTA)

Friends of Royal Alexandra & Albert School (PTA)

The Friends of RAAS (PTA) is a charitable group run by volunteer parents of RAAS.  All parents automatically become members of the Friends when they join the school.

Getting involved with the Friends is a great way of getting to know other families and school staff whilst making a contribution to the quality of school life. Children love seeing their parents in school. By getting involved, you can benefit them, improve their educational environment and make friends too.

Supporting the School

The Friends was set up by parents to raise money to improve the school environment for our children. Over the years the Friends have raised many thousands of pounds, which has been spent on improving equipment and facilities at the school and at the boarding houses. Past Friends fundraising efforts have helped fund a refurbishment of the junior school library and the playground, also interactive whiteboards, benches for outside the dining hall, music equipment and so much more.

How You Can Help

However big or small we welcome any support from running one of our events to turning up and supporting them on the day for half an hour.

Our Meetings

We meet every month on a Saturday around 8.30am, everyone is welcome. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for details of each meeting. We look forward to seeing you there.
